The Faith Lanai Scholarship is dedicated to supporting and encouraging students who are passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and understanding their impact on individuals' lives. This scholarship program aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed while fostering a greater awareness of healthy living among the younger generation.
The Faith Lanai Scholarship will award two scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, community involvement, and a demonstrated commitment to overcoming challenges.
Two scholarships will be awarded for $1,000 each.

To be considered for the Faith Lanai Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
a) Academic Achievement: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
or equivalent.
b) Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted as full-time students at an
accredited college, university, or trade school.
c) Field of Study: There are no restrictions for the field of study. Students from all
disciplines are encouraged to apply.
d) Community and Advocacy Commitment: Applicants must demonstrate a strong
commitment to community and advocacy through their involvement in activities such as:
● Organizing awareness campaigns through social media or other platforms.
● Community Service.
● Utilizing social media platforms to raise awareness about maintaining a healthy
lifestyle.

Interested students must complete the following steps to apply for the Faith Lanai Scholarship:
a) Application Form: Applicants must complete an official scholarship application form,
which can be obtained from the Walk By Faith Organization's website.
b) Personal Statement: Applicants must submit a personal statement (500-750 words or
2-3 minute video) highlighting their involvement in the community and how they plan to
raise awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
c) Academic Transcripts: Applicants must provide their most recent academic transcripts
as proof of their academic achievements.
d) Letters of Recommendation: Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation
from individuals who can attest to their dedication to community service and their potential for future success.

The scholarship selection committee, comprising representatives from the WBFO, will evaluate
the applications based on the following criteria:
a) Community Service Advocacy: The extent and impact of the applicant's involvement
in raising awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
b) Academic Achievement: The applicant's academic record and potential for future
success.
c) Personal Statement: The quality and clarity of the applicant's statement.
